I am thrilled to be part the Fulton Community and to be a Fulton Falcon! I was born and raised on the Jersey Shore. I attended Towson University and received my Bachelor's degree in Elementary/Special Education. I completed my student teaching internships in Howard County, which led me to move to Maryland. I started my teaching career at Waterloo Elementary School where I taught second and third grade. In 2013, I had the privilege of opening Ducketts Lane Elementary School as the second grade Instructional Team Leader and then spent six years as the fifth grade Instructional Team Leader before transitioning to the Leadership Intern at Bollman Bridge. This is my eighteenth year in education! While teaching, I attended McDaniel College and received my Master's degree in Curriculum and Instruction with a focus in Leadership. Working with children and helping them reach their greatest potential is a true passion of mine! I whole heartedly believe every child can succeed when provided the right opportunities and supports. I look forward to building positive relationships with the Fulton staff, students and community and working collaboratively to ensure we are providing all students with an equitable learning environment that is centered on social-emotional well-being and academic success for every child. During my spare time, I enjoy spending time with my family and friends, especially my sons Parker (10) and Griffin (6) and husband Matt. I also love going to the beach, traveling, cooking, watching football (Go JETS!), exercising and crafting. Please don’t hesitate to reach out to me! I am looking forward to our partnership throughout your child’s(rens’) educational journey!
